The individual Role Engagement Alignment Profile™

The individual Role Engagement Alignment Profile™ (iREAP™) will:

  • Identify motivational drivers for individuals
  • Reap the rewards of peak engagement for individuals and organisations
  • Measure motivational dissonance (gap between what they want and need) in an employee's current role
  • Align motivational drivers to current work and career
  • Profile where individuals sit on an engagement risk and opportunity matrix
  • Provide a powerful career decision making tool to help people decide whether to stay and grow in their current role, move  to another position or exit to pursue better opportunities elsewhere
  • Provide practical strategies for them to re-engage or sustain their engagement levels over time.

The iREAP enables organsiations to take the next step from engagement surveys and really make a sustainable difference in their engagement levels.  It is an individual centric approach that encourages the individual to take responsibility and not rely on the manager to sort out their engagement challenges.

It helps individuals to decide whether to stay and grow in their role, move or go elsewhere and commit to that decision.

The (iREAP™) should be used for:

  • Career development
  • Talent Retention
  • Retention and Revitalisation of Mature Age Workers
  • Executive coaching
  • Work and life enrichment
  • Leadership development
  • Passive recruitment

The iREAP™ has been used for talent retention, revitalisation and career development initiatives by leading companies such as Canon, BHP Billiton, ANZ Bank and BP as well as several state and local government departments.

The instrument measures motivational drivers according to 7 blades of motivation. These are derived from Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and are shown below:

These motivational blades are mapped against engagement factors to identify individual engagement strategies. The results are shown in the Engagement Risk and Opportunity Matrix shown here.

Re-test iREAP reports contrast BEFORE and AFTER pictures of the engagement and enable measurement and discussions about ROI.

Organisational group reports (engagement surveys) map the engagement risk profile for a whole organisation or for parts (teams, divisions) of an organisation.

The iREAP™ reports

There are two different reports available with the iREAP instrument and both are available online.

The iREAP Summary Report will report on:

  1. The most fulfilling work aspects and most dissatisfying work aspects in the person's current role
  2. How engaged they are with their current organisation
  3. Engagement risks and opportunities in their current situation
  4. Practical development actions that can be implemented to increase or sustain engagement levels over time.

This information can also be used to map where people might be at in their engagement role life cycle and career.  Please access Darth Vader's iREAP Summary Report here.

The iREAP summary report does not require accreditation to use.  It is competitively priced and represents excellent value for money.  If you would like to purchase this instrument then please   Bulk purchases of more than 10 units attract a discount so please contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for a price list.

The iREAP Full Report will indicate scores against the motivational blades outlined above and provide a qualitative report on what each of these mean for the individual.  It also is a much more comprehensive report with measures of dissonance for all of the 49 motivating work aspects not just the most and least satisfying.  The individual has greater opportunity for reflection on their engagement through the information provided and therefore presents a richer coaching opportunity.  If you would like to see what this looks like then click here for Darth Vader's full iREAP report.
