Data Use, Access and Storage
Data that can be used to personally identify you is collected only
for the purposes of providing your report.
A Work Engagement Report
containing your identifiable individual results will be either
printed or sent electronically to the nominated contact person.
The contact person will either be yourself or, if an employee, your
line manager, coach, consultant or Human Resource professional at your
organisation. The contact
person will generally be the person who requested you to complete the
tool. If you are
completing this tool as part of a training course, the contact person
is likely to be the person facilitating the training or conducting
coaching sessions. Once received, it is the sole responsibility of the
contact person to protect your personal information.
Your identifiable data is stored on a secure server for the purpose of
generating your report and this information will be kept on file for
three months only – in case your report needs to be generated again.
Because™
will use de-identified data held anonymously and indefinitely for
longer-term research, in addition as an input to validity and
normative studies of the data. The
results of these studies will be used to refine and enhance the Work
Engagement Tool® over time.
Data collected from participants using this tool may be anonymously
used for research which explores links between motivational drivers,
employee engagement, and the quality and effectiveness of leadership
in the workplace. Collated
results will be used in the research project, but your personal
identifying details will not.
